This policy explains how Marsade handles information in connection with this website and with enquiries sent to us. It describes what this website actually does — nothing more.

Information this website collects

This website does not use contact forms, accounts, logins or e-commerce. It does not ask you to submit personal information, and it does not collect personal information automatically for marketing or profiling purposes.

Like virtually all websites, the hosting provider that serves these pages may record standard technical request data — such as IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of a request — in server logs. This is generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability purposes and is not used by Marsade to identify individual visitors.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not run advertising or tracking scripts.

Fonts, styles, scripts and images are served from this website itself rather than from a third-party content network, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to an external provider.

If analytics or other measurement tools are added to this website in future, this policy will be updated before they are introduced, and any consent required in your jurisdiction will be obtained.

Information you send us by email

If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message — typically your name, your email address, your company and a description of what you are looking for. We use it to respond to you, to assess whether an engagement makes sense, and to carry out that engagement if it proceeds.

We do not sell enquiry information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Business contact information in our research work

Marsade's services involve researching companies and identifying business contacts on behalf of clients. That work is separate from this website, is governed by the agreement in place with the relevant client, and is not covered by this website policy.

If you believe we hold business contact information about you in connection with our research work and you would like it reviewed or removed, email us at mj@marsade.com and we will deal with the request.

Service providers

We rely on third parties to operate the basics: a hosting provider to serve this website and an email provider to send and receive messages. Each processes information only as needed to deliver that service.

Data security

This website is served over an encrypted connection. We take reasonable measures to protect information we hold, though no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Data retention

Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was sent, and for ordinary business record-keeping afterwards. You can ask us to delete correspondence at any time.

Your choices

You can contact us at mj@marsade.com to ask what correspondence we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected, or to ask for it to be deleted. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights over personal information; we will honour applicable rights when a request is made.

SMS and text messaging

Marsade does not operate an SMS or text-message programme. This website does not collect mobile numbers, there is no SMS opt-in, and we do not send marketing text messages. If that ever changes, consent would be collected explicitly at the point of sign-up, and mobile opt-in information and consent would not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Children

This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children.

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The revision date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
